Narrative Generation, Ann Badillo, Tim Donovan & Tobin Trevarthen, 2016

The book points out the major difference between story and narrative. The first, a self contained story with a beginning and an ending. Narratives are more open-ended and ongoing. They ofter bridges connecting stories.  Narratives explore themes that really have no beginning or end. Today "Me too" has become a narrative, one that our culture is exploring in many forms and manifestations.  Narratives are life; they are us.  Stories unfold within the narrative.
